Overview

This section of the London Countryway is the shortest at just over 6 miles, with nearly all of the walk through the magnificent Thorndon Country Park south of Brentwood in the Thames Chase Community Forest.  Near the end there is a fine view towards the Thames estuary.

Do bring a picnic and at the end of the walk we will aim to find a pub for a drink before heading back home.
