We will leave Muddy Boots and cross the A61 to pass the Harrogate Arms. We follow the lane until we reach a gate/stile. The view from the track here, across the Wharfe valley is stunning. Continuing along this track we soon reach The Avenue which we cross picking up a farm track. We follow this past the farm, across a field into the stream valley. From here we follow tracks across fields and along lanes until we reach the Leeds Country Way which we follow down to East Keswick. We will then follow the quiet road back to the Avenue which again we cross, dropping down through fields and woodland to the footpath along the Wharfe which we follow back to Harewood.
Depending upon the weather there could be wet and muddy conditions.
Car park may be busy. There is a limited amount of parking available on the streets adjascent to the cafe otherwise, as the Harewood Arms is now closed, I would advise parking on the Avenue.
