Overview

We will meet @ Marsden railway station @ 10am for an 8m circular walk.

We will walk along the canal then turn right to emerge in Waters Road which follows the beck which feedsTunnel End Resovoir. We will continue along Blake Lea Lane , fork left to a footpath which follows the right hand bank of a stream.

We will thenclimb away from the stream and follow the path for 2 miles.

We will then reach the A640 road and turn sharp right back on our selves to follow footpath for" Standedge & Edale via via the Penine way"

We will arrive @ Millstone edge with views across Lancashire & Castleshaw Resovoirs. After turning left we will reach the trig point where we will have our lunch stop.

After lunch we will head down to Brun Clough resovoir car park, turn left & follow Pennine way fingerpost. When we draw level with Redbrook resovoir we will turn left to Mardsen where we will have refreshments.
