Overview

A linear walk for a change, and one in which you might be able to leave your car at home by hopping on a train towards Horsham, disembarking at Holmwood and then walking back to Dorking. We begin the walk by heading steadily upwards past Kitlands to Coldharbour, where we will pause for refreshments (either your own or purchased from The Plough shop). Then easy walking along Wolvens Lane before we drop gently down via Squires Farm, Chadhurst Farm and The Nower. In Dorking we shall follow the alley ways past some of the lovely old buildings on Rose Hill, and back to Dorking Main Station.

You may wish to linger in Dorking and find yourself some lunch from one of its many cafes, or picnic in Meadowbank.
