Moderate-paced walk at the Knepp Rewilding Estate with frequent stops to observe the wildlife including White Storks, Tamworth Pigs, Longhorn Cattle, Exmoor Ponies and more. Binoculars recommended to get a better view of the storks and other wildlife. Refreshment stop at the cafe in the converted 18th Century barn at the end of the walk. To be jointly led by Chris and Paul. (NB: Due to the wildlife focus of this walk, it is limited to 15 people and is not suitable for dogs.)
If you're not familiar with Knepp, it's a 3,500 acre rewilding project that began in 2000. The primary aim is the restoration of nature. Knepp is now brimming with life, and numerous endangered species such as nightingales, turtle doves and purple emperor butterflies are breeding there.
Booking required: Please go to the bookings page of our website - https://www.molevalleyramblers.org.uk/bookings - noting the instructions.
