A delightful and very varied walk on quiet country roads and mixed woodland paths, visiting an old priory, a strange remote village and the site of a medieval village. Lovely trees and good for raptors. Bring provisions for two stops. Wellies not suitable if the ground is frozen, as seems likely. Strong boots and a pole advised. Good tracks and very little mud unless there is a considerable thaw. If the sun is shining, sunglasses are very helpful to avoid glare from low sunlight. Seriously.
Please note: the Finish Time is an estimate and may vary.
