We are the Guildford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A leisurely stroll around Compton, mainly level with a gentle incline, starting at the Watts Gallery Overflow CP. We will walk past a riding establishment, through a little wood and onto a country lane, returning by the NDW.
At the end of the walk there's a chance to have coffee or tea and a delicious slice of cake at the Watts Gallery cafe.

This walk is part of Guildford WalkFest 2024 - a month long celebration of walking (supported by Guildford Borough Council, Surrey Hills Society & various sponsors) and is designed to get people of all ages and abilities out and about in our beautiful town and it's surrounding countryside.
Find your way to Compton by driving up the Farnham Road , turn left at the top as if going onto the A3 and then turn left again. When you reach the Watts Gallery (on your left) turn right. Drive down the lane and find the car park on the right.
