Overview

A longer than normal Wednesday walk starting at Albury Sports Ground. Good tracks through the woods and heath, crossing Chantry Bridge outside Shere. Through Silver Wood and following part of the Pilgrims' Way to climb up St Martha's Hill. Then a steep descent to pass Chilworth Manor and the Downs Link to Lockner Lodge. We will pass the disused watercress beds to Postford Farm and then a gradual ascent to return across Albury Heath to the car park.
