Overview

A glorious and varied walk just 11 miles west of the hotel.

We will follow a rock-cut path beside the Dyfi Estuary.

Once we leave the estuary, the route rises steeply to a high-level on the side of Foel Lwyd (Grey Hill or Treeless Hill).

We will stop a couple of times during the ascent to take a breath, have a cuppa and be amazed by the incredible views.

Once we get to our high point, we can see (on a clear day), north to the Llŷn Peninsular and to the south, the most southern parts of West Wales.

Amazing views!

Safety Advice
There are two short stretches near to the start where we will walk on the roadside. For our safety, please follow the leader’s instructions.

The surfaces of our walk are typical woodland, hillside tracks.
The beginning and end of the walk is in Aberdyfi Town Centre.
