We will start by walking uphill from the car park to ascend the spectacular British Camp (also known as the Herefordshire Beacon). It consists of concentric ditches and mounds.
Then we will follow a series of hills and look at an obelisk before eventually reaching Chase End Hill which is at the southern end of the Malvern Hills.
Afterwards we will return to the British Camp car park via a lower-level route on the eastern side of the Malvern Hills.
Directions: Head south from the hotel on Abbey Road.
Bear right at the first junction and then stay on Abbey Road for 0.6 of a mile until you climb up onto the A449.
Bear left and follow this road for 3.3 miles.
At the top of the hill opposite the Malvern Hills Hotel, turn left into the car park.
Travel time approximately 10 minutes.
