This circular walk will be co-led with Dom Hand.
An evening walk starting from City Park in the city centre, taking in some of Bradford's most picturesque places such as Bradford Cathedral, Peel Park, Lister Park and Valley Parade football stadium.
The first part takes us up a steep incline to Peel Park on the pavement. This is the highest point of the walk in terms of ascent. As almost all of this walk is on the pavement, trainers will be suitable. The walk will meander through both Peel Park and Lister Park to take in their splendour!
As we'll be walking alongside some busy roads, care will be needed when we need to cross. Some of the footpaths are also affected by the city centre roadworks.
Once we've finished, we'll find a pub for a well earned drink.
This walk is very accessible by public transport as it is close to both train stations (Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forster Square) and the Bradford Bus Station. Nearby parking is also available, including the Leisure Exchange Multi-Storey where it costs £1.50 for up to 24 hours.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
