Overview

Fancy taking up hiking for the new year? Why not start with a leisurely walk from the centre of Bingley through the St. Ives country estate.

Taking in some of the pretty riverside paths, woodlands and lakes around Bingley, and paying a visit to the famous Druid's altar monument.

We will finish up with a coffee and cake in one of Bingley's many cosy cafes.

Start and  end point is the entrance to Bingley train station. Walk distance is about 5 miles and walk should take 2-3 hours.

Bingley has plenty of train services from Leeds and Bradford. There are also plenty of car parks in Bingley, including one right next to the station.

Please note there are no toilet facilities at Bingley station or along the route.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
