Today's walk will start from The Star PH at Standon. We will walk through the picturesque High Street before entering our first footpath. After carefully crossing the busy A120 we will continue our leisurely ramble along the scenic Hertfordshire network of footpaths and bridal ways, past the River Rib Valley, the old railway line and Standon Lordship -- we may even come across the odd deer or even a donkey or two before making our way back to The Star, for an optional lunch. Pre-orders will be taken by the pub from 9.30 a.m.
As with most walks in Hertfordshire we may encounter the odd hill!!
