A Mud-Free Station to Station Walk in Cambridge

Sheila and Mike are going to lead a 5.5mile walk featured in the recent copy of Walk magazine, however they will walk it in reverse. The walk starts at Cambridge North railway station at 10am. There is a Greater Anglian train that arrives at 9.59am which the leaders will be using so if this is delayed please be patient. 

The walk follows the River Cam from the station to Jesus Green passing many of the college boathouses en route. It then passes some of the colleges in the centre of Cambridge before heading to Cambridge Station where the walk will finish. About 45 minutes before the end of the walk we will be in central Cambridge so if anyone wishes to leave the walk there to shop or find their favourite eatery just let the leader know at the time.

No lunch has been booked but there are several pubs or eateries within Cambridge or at the station. These include the Railway Tavern offering typical pub food, Chill #2 offering brunches, soups and sandwiches, food trucks outside the station, or sandwich shops like Pret a Manger or Gregg's.
