A 4 mile walk around central Reading, including a visit to the Abbey Ruins.
Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.

Walk details
Starting out from Reading South side train station meeting outside the Three Guineas, we will wander across Forbury Gardens and Abbey Ruins, along the canal and head up towards Reading University, taking in all the beautiful sites, old buildings, round the museum and round the lake, then back down towards Reading Station via a pub on the way down.

By public transport
Reading is easily reached by train or bus from many directions.
The replacement walk leader will be travelling by train from Newbury. If the trains are delayed the start of the walk may be as well.
By car
Please use one of the many car parks available in central Reading if travelling by car, where charges will apply.
Dogs
Dogs welcome on this walk, provided they are kept under control at all times and placed on a lead when requested by the walk leader.
