Knockholt Pound - Knockholt - Berry's Green - Downe - Magpie Lane - Halstead - Knockholt Pound
Open countryside as well as woods, with some lovely views. A bit of road walking. Some fairly gentle undulations. Potential for a considerable amount of mud. We pass he home of Charles Darwin, Downe House, before consuming a packed lunch at Downe, where refreshments may also be available at Queen's Larder Tea House or George and Dragon pub.
Park (plenty of free parking) on roads around Harrow Inn, Knockholt, but not in pub car park where we rendez-vous as walkers.
