Overview

A leisurely walk through quiet country lanes and pasture with a wide variety of terrain and amazing views across to The Clees, Long Mynd, Caer Caradoc and the Stretton hills.   We pass by Ragleth Hill, through Ragdon to Chelmick and cross the Rag Batch, returning to the lane by Acton Scott entrance.  All of the steep paths are short. There are 8 stiles and 2 bridges across streams.

The car park in Acton Scott is closed and the parking we are using is available by permission of Acton Scott.

Please find the parking place using these directions: From the A49 at Marshbrook, go up to the crossroads in Acton Scott. Take the Henley road on the right.  Parking is on the left, opposite a pond, in an area with a large tree in the middle.
