Overview

From Balcombe, we head east along woodland paths towards Ardingly Reservoir. Following the reservoir’s scenic shore, we take in panoramic views across the water, passing through wooded sections and open grassland.  We then pick up part of the High Weald Landscape Trail, meandering through rolling countryside, ancient woodland, and farmland, with gentle ascents and descents along the way. Finally, we turn south and make our way towards Haywards Heath, crossing fields and tree-lined tracks before reaching the town.

Please bring packed lunch.  Pub / Tap Room stop at the end
