Overview

A flat easy walk of 2 1/2 miles along the River Mole & farm lands followed by an optional afternoon tea at The Burford Bridge Hotel; famed for being the last place where Admiral Nelson stayed on English soil prior to departing for The Battle of Trafalgar.

Please meet at 1.45 pm at The Norbury Park free car park at the bottom of Young Street (A246) in Leatherhead.

Note. This is a Linear walk. Both ends of this walk are served by the 1/2 hourly 465 Bus Route Kingston / Dorking which will be used to return to the car park from The Burford Bridge Hotel.

Meet at The Norbury Park Young Street car park (free) at the bottom of Young Street (A246) in Leatherhead. Note. If driving from Guildford on A246, there's no access to CP from eastbound carriageway so, you need take 4th exit at roundabout and rejoin A246 westbound. 465 Kingston/Dorking Bus stop 'Givons Roundabout' near CP entrance
