Join the friendly Saturday group on a walk to enjoy the landscape and the company. Explore the rolling Chilterns and savour the glimpse of a famous Elizabethan mansion. The landscape is a mixture of field and woodland paths and tracks, and a stretch of the Ridgeway. It is a dog friendly walk, but need to keep the dogs on a lead, no stiles, several gates.
We walk skirting around Beacon Hill, cross Chequers before returning to the car park. There is some road walking and we cross roads twice.
Some sections are very muddy and slippery. Please bring your poles.
