Sevenoaks Ramblers organises a variety of walks on Wednesdays and Sundays in the wonderful countryside around Sevenoaks. Come and join us!
This walk is part of the Sevenoaks Circular Route. We cross Knole Park to River Hill joining the Greensand Way to Wickhurst Manor. We continue until we climb Hanging Bank to Ide Hill, where we will take a picnic lunch. We visit some quiet farmland before entering the woodland of the Montreal Estate and then make our way through Sevenoaks Common to Knole Park and our starting point. This walk is 13 miles long with with moderate ascents (1,400 ft ascent). There are superb views to the Weald of Kent including Bough Beech reservoir and also to the North Downs. Reasonable fitness required. No dogs please.

Meet at the entrance to Sevenoaks Leisure Centre. All parking here is now fee paying on Sundays. The long stay carpark is the multistorey one close by. Free car parking is available at the District Council Offices 10 minutes walk away - TN13 1 HG. The railway station is 15 minutes walk away. Dep. London Charing Cross - 08.40
