Starting from Mill Lane the walk will soon descend sharply into Lavender Dale before climbing gently up to Blanch Farm. After heading south towards Farberry Garth, and following Great Dug Dale northwards, a short climb on the road leads back to the start.

Parking on the grass verge near the start point but be alert for drainage gulleys.

No dogs, apart from Registered Assistance Dogs with permission of the leader.
