Description:

Enjoy the golden hues of Autumn and long shadows as we walk along beech woods and rolling hills.

We will stop at about half-way on this figure of eight at the Lions of Bledlow for refreshment.

After our drink we will make our way up to the top of Chinnor Hill to admire the stunning view as the sun begins to set, and continue into the sun as we descend steeply on the BBOWT nature trail. At the bottom of the valley, we will return parallel to the railway, then a short path takes us up to the Ridgeway along which we retrace to our start point.

242M Ascent.

There is one steep descent so please bring poles if you use them, (there is also a less-steep option).

Disclaimer: Any mention of sun and it’s effects cannot be guaranteed but we’re hopeful.

Well behaved dogs are allowed.
