Overview

Meet Mary outside the station for a circular walk of about three miles to discover a world of elegant Victorian villas and fascinating history in one of London's lesser-known districts.  Unlock the secret of the strange circular structure near the station, learn about the James Bond logo and see the memorial to a real-life heroine of World War Two.  We shall discover artists, the original Albert Square, and see the building which was the subject of a lecture at the Royal Academy by local author Will Self.  There will be toilets and refreshments along the way. Should finish by about 13.30.
!!!  No booking required, just turn up.
Leader: Mary Richards (mary.richards862@btinternet.com or 07904 016072 on the morning of the walk only).
