We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meet 10am at Teggsnose Reservoir car park Ref. 945719, approx. 10.5mile medium walk, with total ascent of approx. 2180ft, using ECR route planner.
From the car park we head up to Clough House, Ashtreetop, and to the top far edge of the forest, down the track to Chapel House, following route to Standing Stone car park, Buxtors Hill, round the edge of Shutingsloe. Down to Wildboarclough, follow field paths up to Lower Nap farm, then Greenway Bridge, Oakenclough, Haddon farm, Greenbarn, Clarke Lane and back to car park.
Mix of rocky, grassy paths, some stiles and livestock in fields.
Bring food/drinks for coffee and lunch stops.
