Meet at the bus stop on Black Road, Macclesfield, just before the Buxton Road junction (SJ926735) in time to catch the number 58 bus towards Buxton at 10:21. Bring bus fare or bus pass. Alight at the Cat & Fiddle at 10:36 to return via Shining Tor, the Lamaload, Ginclough, Kerridge hill, Swanscoe and the canal. 8½ miles, +1000ft, -2300ft. Packed lunch. No dogs.
