We are the East Hertfordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
On this walk from Furneaux Pelham we will visit Brent Pelham and Stocking Pelham. We will be using cross field paths and bridleways, some of which are well used and a couple that are less well used. We will also walk part of the longest ford in Britain, how much will depend on conditions on the day.
There will be wide open views, interesting churches and far from home signs along the way.
The Furneaux Stores will be open for pre walk coffee and the The Brewery Tap will be open for post walk refreshments. http://thebrewerytapfp.co.uk/
Our walks are relaxed affairs where weather, ground conditions, people we meet along the way, views, nature, and wildlife can all affect the time a walk might take, so our end times are approximate. So please bear this in mind when joining us on one of our walks
We will meet outside The Brewery Tap, Barleycroft End. Please park in the local area.
