Overview

Very much a walk of two halves.  After viewing the Standing With Giants art installation (still in situ until the end of the year), we will pick up the Imber Perimeter Trail and follow it to Coulston Hill along a flat, surfaced track.  We will then head across to the top of Luccombe Bottom and follow a grassy track down the side and on to the edge of Edington village before heading across to Bratton.  We will visit the church via some lovely old steps and then pick up the bridlepath that climbs up the side of Combe Bottom to take us back to the edge of Bratton camp, with the option to walk around the ramparts of the hill fort and view the White Horse before returning to the car park.  There will be fantastic views if the weather is clear.  There are no stiles but it may be muddy in some places.  Bring provisions for 2 stops.
