We are the Livingston Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This walk will take us through the green spaces of this part of the city, following in part the Braid Burn, and passing through several community led projects as well as some historic sites, with a couple of ghosts lurking in the background.A wee bit of pavement walking/traffic noise from time to time to link the woodlands and parks. Mostly level walking with low gradient, but depending on weather conditions, uphill above Duddingston.
Option of finishing with tea and cake in a local community café, 10 minutes from start/finish point.
Boots and poles recommended. One stone stile. One narrow fence gap – 40cm wide.
Please let leader Cath (07801 354754) know by Sunday 25th January if you will be joining the walk and staying for refreshments as she would like to warn the café staff about an invasion of the group as it is not enormous.

Start of walk: Inch House Community Centre, 225 Gilmerton Road, EH16 5UF, at 10am. Very limited parking. Alternative is on- street parking on Glenallan Drive EH16 5RE. Both places accessed off Gilmerton Road.
