Overview

An undulating walk with extensive views. Starting from Bury Down car park we head west along the Ridgeway, past Scutchamer Knob, before turning down on the Ilsley Downs Riding Route to Land’s End. The route then ascends along Old Street before heading east to West Ilsley via Starveall Farm. From West Ilsley, we gradually ascend back to the Ridgeway past the gallops on Hodcott Down and return to Bury Down. There are no stiles on the walk. Please bring a picnic.
