We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We leave the car park east of Walbury Hill Fort and descend to Combe to the south, passing the church and ascending gently out of Combe to Wadsmere Down and Combe Wood. We join the Test Way for a while and then continue along the foot of Cleve Hill Down. We head uphill to Combe Hill and follow the road back towards the car park, ending with the path onto West Woodhay Down to finally return to the cars.
Generally open paths but some gradients.
Please bring refreshments for a mid walk break.
There is no requirement to book.
The car park is situated to the east of Walbury Hill Fort ( not the car park near Combe Gibbet)
