This circular walk starts at The Hampshire Bowman in Dundridge and we cover an area to the north-east around Droxford Down. There are some great views on route, as we walk through downland and woodland. The tracks are mainly wide and easy walking, but there may be a little mud in the wooded part after the recent rains. There are three stiles at the start and again at the end, and one quite steep incline which is however, short. A few short sections involve walking along quiet roads. If the weather is sunny, please remember hats or suncream.
We meet at the award winning Hampshire Bowman. I will collate everyone’s food orders on the day, and provide the list to the kitchen. Payment can be made when we return with any drinks orders. In order to avoid any delay to the walk, it would be helpful if you could browse the menu that I will provide in advance (or which you can see in the link below) and let me know your order when you arrive. Please note that the pub does not open until 11am, so it is not guaranteed that toilets will be available prior to the walk, but there are a number of suitable places on our route.
Car sharing would be good, so please let me know if you wish to and would like to put forward your name to other people.
