We are the Lower Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Wenchford car park we make our way through the woods to Viney Hill and onward to skirt the Villages of Oldcroft and Yorkley Slade.
If lucky there will still be some autumn colour but, be warned 'There shall be MUD
Waterproof footwear is a must and walking poles advisable.
Some climbing but nothing too much so rating is moderate.

Wenchford Picnic Site (free to park in the winter). From the A48 at Blakeney take the unclassified road signposted to Parkend and Go Ape. After 1.2 miles the car park is on the right. Park 300yds in from the road by the small building. For car sharing from Chepstow meet at Chepstow Leisure Centre at 9.15, or otherwise go directly to the start.
