Overview

I am a Falkirk Bairn and have not moved far. It is therefore to my shame that I have never been in the scenic and interesting Westquarter Glen until just shy of my 61st birthday. Just one of the rewards of joining Linlithgow Ramblers! We start from the Beancross car park, make our way to the western edge of Lauriston, pass through Westquarter, a pre-war “planned” village, into the Glen before heading towards Hallglen and entering Callendar Woods. All being well, it’ll be lunch in Callendar Park and then returning by a different route.
