Overview

A walk up Crimp Hill into Windsor Great Park at Bears Rail Gate. The walk continues to the Long Walk and up to the Copper Horse and a refreshment break with wonderful views. Bring binoculars. Bring a drink and snack. The walk continues past Ox Pond and onto the Savill Building (toilets) and then back through the Deer Park.

Meet in the free car park at Old Windsor Recreation Ground, Robin Willis Way, off St Lukes Road, Old Windsor. Turn left into Robin Willis Way just after Silcress Hair Design on St Lukes Road. The Beeline number 8 bus from Slough and Windsor to Staines travels along the A308. Alight at Old Windsor Recreation Ground.
