Overview

We meet on the corner of Harris Lane and Oaklands Avenue; heading off through Wistow, passing the very old church, and the “cottage core” back street known as Manor Street, before crossing the bridge out of Wistow to take the Rothschild Way footpath along the river and across fields to Bury. After navigating the back-streets of Bury we continue along a thicket path which runs parallel to the main road to Upwood, along this path are a number of interesting benches. We pass the site of RAF Upwood before turning left off the road to walk along field and wood edges and country lanes back to Wistow
