Overview

Meet Location: Cuxton Library

Date: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month

The walk will leave at 10.30am.

The Facebook group ...""' Cuxton Views ""... have teamed up with the Ramblers wellbeing walks, Medway Health Walks and the Public Health team in Medway to offer a walk through the countryside in and around Cuxton

First-time participants will be required to complete any outstanding registration processes as advised by the volunteer walk leader.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, we kindly request that everyone adheres to the established guidelines and pre-planned routes, which have been thoroughly mapped, walked, and risk assessed.

We welcome numerous visitors to Medway who join our walks to explore new areas they can revisit independently.

Our walks are designed to promote health and well-being by encouraging physical activity while allowing participants to enjoy their local surroundings in the company of others.

In the absence of a walk leader, we recommend that you proceed with your walk independently to avoid missing out.

Walkers may be informed about key points of interest along the route and any potential hazards.

All our guided walking routes have been risk assessed. While we will try to avoid steep hills, steps, and very muddy or slippery surfaces, participants should be prepared for hills appropriate to the walk’s level, uneven surfaces, and potentially slippery terrain.

Local grade 4/5Suitable for walkers who are interested in walking for their health. Walks are up to 75 minutes and generally just over 3 miles. Walks will include slopes and less rest stops than the normal grade 3 walks.
