Overview

Our walk takes us out of Amport as we head across open countryside towards East Cholderton. There are splendid views of the farmlands and fields of Thruxton and Monxton.

On reaching Haydown Farm we turn towards Quarley and then walk beside Amport Wood on our right.

We complete the walk through the village passing the now closed Amport House, the 12th Century St Mary`s Church and the village green. This is an easy walk on flat ground and there are no stiles.
