Overview

Starting from Ampleforth in North York Moors National Park, our first hour of walking will be north, gradually uphill towards Studfold Ring. Continuing through Pry Rigg Plantation and open access woodland, landscape opens up with views across to Helmsley. We head towards the pretty village of Sproxton from where we pick up the Ebor Way following it south to Oswaldkirk.  Here we turn west gradually descending  towards Ampleforth.
