Overview

Glorious scenery from start to finish, we head south through Chatsworth Estate before turning off to Edensor to follow the trail uphill to Calton Houses, then east to Calton Lees and Beeley Lodge. Toilets available around lunchtime at Chatsworth Garden Centre, before continuing uphill to Beeley Hilltop and north back into the estate. Passing Swiss Lake, Emperor Lake and the 16th-century Hunting Tower, we descend across the grassy fields of Chatsworth to return to Baslow.

The walk will include over 1000feet (304m) of ascent.

The car park is popular, so arriving in good time will secure a slot rather than street parking in the lanes nearby.
