A walk with a difference exploring the many snickelways of York city centre. We’ll wander around the ancient (and often hidden in plain sight) ginnels, snickets and alleyways of York on a very leisurely 4 mile stroll with several refreshment stops and lots of history.
Please note, due to the logistics and urban setting of this walk, places are strictly limited, when it’s full it’s full. Booking in advance is ESSENTIAL. Walkers must make own travel arrangements (car sharing/Park & Ride, or train travel are recommended!) We will have two meeting points (10am and 10.30am) to allow for different travel routes, full details will be sent to those booked on.
This is a very easy walk on good surfaces, but comfortable shoes recommended. We will be ambling not galloping 😉 No dogs on this walk please (except assistance dogs), they will be happier snoozing at home.
