Great views throughout, initially descending south west onto the Roman Ridge at Upper Haugh to the outskirts of Greasbrough on the edge of the Wentworth Estate. Continuing along the TPT through Rockingham Wood to emerge at Middle Common, we now turn north east on the Rotherham Round Walk over Dog Kennel Pond. Uphill takes us to the Estate Mausoleum monuments at Nether Haugh before returning to the Marquis Pub for refreshment.
Dogs must be on short fixed leads throughout.
The Marquis Pub , Stubbin Road, Low Stubbin. Please park / assemble in the top (most northerly) car park, to the left of the pub.
