Overview

Scenic views throughout, initially heading through King's Wood to emerge above Wentworth before continuing through the dog-friendly estate. We head uphill after Dog Kennel Pond onto the Roman Ridge to Upper Haugh and Low Stubbin where lunch can be taken on the picnic benches outside the Marquis Arms. We follow the trail to Hoober and Hoober Stand, the on past the Needle's Eye before returning to Elsecar where well-earned refreshment can be obtained in the Heritage Centre.
