Our walk starts at RSBP Bempton Cliffs, England’s largest seabird city, where Puffins, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Guillemots live life on the edge. From here we head south along a rather higgledy-piggledy coastal path passing the bays of Chatterthrow and Thornwick bay before reaching North Landing with its pretty cove and cobble boats. Having had a short break and drink we head to Flamborough Lighthouse which acts as a waypoint for passing deep sea vessels.
This walk is a linear walk and a coach is being used to take walkers from the meeting point at Flamborough Lighthouse to the start point of the walk at Bempton (and we then walk back to Flamborough Lighthouse along the coast path)
Booking is essential to join this walk to secure a seat on the coach. Booking is through the Beverley Tourist Information Office and is FREE. The walk forms part of the Walking East Yorkshire Festival.
