Based in the Scottish Borders, Eildon Ramblers is a friendlywalking group for people of all ages. We offer year-round walks to suit avariety of tastes.
A lovely scenic coastal walk from Berwick to Eyemouth, walked at an easy steady pace with time to take in the views. This is an undulating walk with some short steep sections e.g. the road climb out of Burnmouth. Some great cliff views showing the local geology. It is a walkers’ sign marked national trail, however some very short sections are narrow and near to the cliff edge. Sturdy footwear with good grip is essential and walking poles are recommended. We can enjoy well-earned fish and chips or ice cream by the harbour in Eyemouth at the end of the walk.
