Enjoy the expansive views from the top of Blanchland Moor in this walk that takes us over War Law.
Our route takes us through woods from Blanchland to Shildon and follows the route of A Pennine Journey north to a track across access land towards War Law. Warlaw Pike is reached via a narrow trod through heather (worth it to get the 360 degree views!). Returning to the track, we follow the Carrier's Way over Bulbeck Common to Blackburnhead before returning across Reeding Edge to Baybridge and the river Derwent.

Please meet in the main car park in Blanchland (see map for location). A £2 donation to the Lord Crewe Trust is requested for parking. Car sharing is recommended.
