Overview

This is an 11-mile loop starting from Bossingham, that goes through meadows, woodlands, forest tracks & quiet country lanes.

On leaving the Village Hall car park, we make our way through Atchester Wood, Covet Wood & Covert Wood, before heading through Bladbean. From there we proceed to Park Gate, as we wind our way towards Stelling Minnis, and there will be a picnic lunch break somewhere on this part of the walk.

On arrival at Stelling Minnis, there will the opportunity to stop at the very hospitable Rose & Crown, where last year the landlord kindly welcomed us inside to dry out, during a rainy walk!.

Following our pub pit stop, all that remains, is the final stretch of the walk from Stelling Minnis that takes us back to Bossingham.

Walk leader is Kevin Hall
