Overview

This is first of two walks in August, starting from Wye, but this 10 mile circuit commences from the Nature Reserve in Coldharbour Lane.

This enjoyable route, heads over the brow of the Wye Downs towards Coombe Manor, then onward across Crundale Downs.

Proceeding towards Sole Street, we then stride out to Hobbs Hill and Grandacre Farm en route to the small village of Hastingleigh.

After a picnic lunch stop followed by drinks at the Bowl, which has changed hands since we visited on our walk on June 9th. We will then finish off the walk by joining the North Downs Way just beyond Coldblow, to pass above by the Devils Kneading Trough.

Walk leader is Linda Barden
