Overview

The Wycombe railway from Bourne End to Wycombe closed in 1970. The walk will retrace the line on both track bed and road, viewing what remains of the route including the sites of the intermediate Stations at Wooburn Green and Loudwater. There are a couple of inclines on this walk, and we will need to be careful of golf balls as we walk close to the golf course, but it is a very pleasant walk. Stout walking boots are required for the off-road bits. Bring a packed lunch and drink. This is a joint walk with the Railway Ramblers. Please note there are no toilet facilities on this walk.
