Overview

The walk first passes 15th-century Ockwells Manor through Cox Green and on to Woolley Green. The route then passes over farmland before arriving at Shottesbrooke, with its splendid medieval church. We then have field paths and woodland paths passing Heywood Farm and Great Thift Wood. Bring a picnic lunch and drink to have at White Waltham.  There is a cafe in Ockwells park for an optional drink at the end of the walk. There are toilets in Ockwells Park. There is one stile.
